Airframe Washing
Aircraft pressure washing using the Instant Aircraft Wash (IAW) system on a concrete wash pad. Wash water is captured in a below ground sump and returned to the IAW. Filtered wash water is then recycled back to integrated pressure washer. A final rinse is completed with either fresh, de-ionized or RO filtered water.

Proudly Served by Hydro Engineering, Innovation's Since 1980

In the early 1980's, Hydro Engineering, Innovation's began designing, manufacturing and supplying aircraft washing equipment to the US military, commercial and private carriers. Hydro Engineering Innovation's has become the leading supplier for aircraft exterior pressure washers, high volume clear water rinse systems, foam sprayers, chemical mix systems, corrosion control equipment and wash water filtration.

Hangar modifications and new hangar construction benefit from aircraft washing and wash water filtration systems where pressure washing equipment is located in equipment rooms with controls and wash tools placed in convenient locations inside hangar. When space for equipment isn't available, Hydro Engineering's Hydrosite portable equipment enclosure provides a simple containerized solution with all equipment including plumbing, electrical, heating and air conditioning engineered, built and factory tested. Supplied ready to be placed, connected to utilities completely eliminating typical contractor installation requirements.

The TEWS turbine engine wash system was designed and deployed in the late 1980's for use on the Apache helicopter. Over the years the system was modified and extended to accommodate a wide variety of turbine engines. The TEWS-C is recognized today, throughout the world, as the industry leader in turbine engine compressor and hot section wash systems.

Airport ground support equipment requires regular pressure washing as a standard maintenance procedure. A wide variety of pressure washers, wash water filtration and recycling systems along with portable wash racks from Hydro Engineering Innovation's fill this requirement.

Hangar Cleaning
Hangar wash rack with perimeter trench drains that capture wash water. Wash water is pumped to a Hydrokleen wash water filtration system for processing before discharge to sewer. Foaming soap system includes chemical mixing and foam sprayer that enables quick application of detergent solution to airframe. Soft touch brushes are used to help with soil removal. Airframe is rinsed with large quantities of freshwater at low pressure to ensure salt and other corrosive chemicals are removed.
Turbine Engine Wash System
Turbine engine compressor and hot section wash using the TEWS-C to clean, control corrosion and improve engine performance. Sikorsky S-92 helicopter is placed on a Hydropad portable wash rack which captures the wash water from both engine and airframe washing. First gas path cleaner and then rinse water are introduced into each engine while the engine is being spooled. Contaminates including corrosive chemicals are flushed from the engine.
